The posting

Voor een internationale producent van chemische producten zijn we op zoek naar een laborant met een A2 chemie.

Je staat in voor de kwaliteitscontrole van verschillende verfproducten en ondersteunt waar nodig de productie en de R&D-afdeling. Je voert voornamelijk praktische en routinematige laboratoriumtesten uit, waarbij nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail essentieel zijn.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op verschillende verfproducten.
  • Testen van natte verf, waaronder het bepalen van de fijnheid, viscositeit, vaste bestanddelen en dichtheid.
  • Aanbrengen van verf op de juiste ondergronden en uitvoeren van de bijbehorende droog- of uithardingsprocessen.
  • Controleren van de aangebrachte verf op onder andere hardheid, hechting en kleur.
  • Interpreteren van testresultaten en berekenen van correcties bij afwijkingen.
  • Zelfstandig uitvoeren van berekende kleur- en kwaliteitscorrecties op productieschaal.
  • Nemen van stalen in de productie en nauw samenwerken met de productieafdeling.
  • Indien nodig tijdelijk ondersteunen bij werkzaamheden in de productie.

Je werkt mee aan de kwaliteitscontrole van verschillende productgroepen. Kleurbeoordeling speelt daarbij een belangrijke rol.

  • We zoeken vooral iemand die praktisch ingesteld is, graag nauwkeurig werkt en zich goed voelt in een productiegerichte laboratoriumomgeving.
  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een A2-diploma Chemie of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding, bijvoorbeeld in een andere wetenschappelijke richting.
  • Je hebt een eerste praktische labo-ervaring, bijvoorbeeld via een stage, opleiding of eerdere werkervaring. Ook schoolverlaters met de juiste ingesteldheid en maturiteit komen in aanmerking.
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt zeer goed Nederlands, zodat je veiligheidsinstructies en procedures correct kunt opvolgen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en volgens de vooropgestelde instructies.
  • Je hebt een goed kleuronderscheidingsvermogen. Kleurenblindheid is niet verenigbaar met deze functie.
  • Je beschikt over voldoende rekenvaardigheid om eenvoudige berekeningen te maken, waaronder de regel van drie.
  • Je bent niet allergisch voor de chemische producten waarmee je werkt.
  • Je bent bereid om fysiek werk uit te voeren. Bij bepaalde correcties en testen moet je zakken van 25 kg kunnen tillen en verplaatsen. Tijdens de selectieprocedure worden je kleuronderscheidingsvermogen en rekenvaardigheid getest.
