Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud)

  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Working Location: Central
  • Salary Package: Up to $6.500 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cloud security operations and administration across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
  • Monitor and assess cloud security posture, identify vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations, and drive remediation efforts.
  • Manage cloud access controls, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), identity and access management (IAM), and user permissions.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security configurations, policies and controls in accordance with security best practices.
  • Conduct cloud security posture management (CSPM) and address security gaps to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support security audits, compliance assessments and remediation activities.
  • Work with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to investigate security issues and strengthen overall cloud security.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in cloud cybersecurity operations, particularly in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud security posture management (CSPM), access/RBAC administration, security configuration and compliance remediation.
  • Good understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and security best practices.
  • Relevant cloud or cybersecurity qualifications and certifications (e.g. Microsoft Azure Security, AWS Security Specialty or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
