  • Develop and execute commercial agreements, supply contracts, offtake arrangements, and long-term business partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial margins, optimise sourcing costs, and strengthen business profitability.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, volumes, payment terms, supply commitments, and contractual obligations.

3. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and maintain a strong network of biofuel manufacturers, feedstock aggregators, technology providers, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Evaluate potential partners based on production capacity, quality, reliability, economics, and scalability.
  • Develop partnerships that enable reliable sourcing, manufacturing access, market expansion, and long-term customer commitments.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to structure commercially viable partnerships and execute strategic initiatives.

4. Feedstock, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Understanding

  • Develop a strong understanding of biofuel feedstocks, sourcing economics, production processes, manufacturing capacity, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Evaluate feedstock availability, quality, pricing volatility, logistics, and supply continuity.
  • Work with manufacturing and supply chain partners to assess production feasibility, operational readiness, and cost competitiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply reliability, production economics, inventory management, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable quality requirements.

5. Financial Performance & Business Ownership

  • Own business performance across revenue, gross margins, operating costs, and profitability, in line with the scope of the role.
  • Develop business plans, forecasts, budgets, and commercial growth strategies.
  • Assess commercial opportunities through financial modelling, unit economics, pricing analysis, and profitability evaluation.
  • Monitor receivables, working capital, contractual exposure, and commercial risks.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on business performance, market opportunities, risks, and growth plans.

6. Regulatory & Market Intelligence

  • Track relevant biofuel policies, blending mandates, sustainability requirements, and industry developments in India and other target markets.
  • Maintain an understanding of applicable regulatory, quality, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Build relationships with industry associations and relevant ecosystem stakeholders.

  • Translate customer requirements and market opportunities into actionable business plans.
  • Establish clear business metrics, review mechanisms, and accountability for execution.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team as the business scales.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
