Position Type: Full-Time

Industry: Maritime / Ship Repair / Marine Fabrication

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Stainless Steel Welder to join our marine fabrication team. This position focuses on the modification, fabrication, and structural repair of critical stainless steel marine components, piping networks, and vessel fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Welding: Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on stainless steel components, maritime piping systems, and specialized structures.

• Fabrication & Assembly: Fit up, align, tack-weld, and fabricate stainless steel brackets, high-pressure pipes, and deck furniture according to engineering drawings.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret structural welding drawings, weld symbols, and technical specifications precisely.

• Quality Inspections: Inspect finished welds for structural cracks, uniformity, and safety defects; polish or grind welds to marine-grade smooth finishes when required.

• Equipment Safety: Safely operate heavy fabrication tools, including grinders, plasma cutters, and bending machines, while adhering to shipyard safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Technical certificate or trade diploma in Welding, Marine Fabrication, or an equivalent engineering discipline.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
