## Job Summary The Assistant General Manager – PV Projects is responsible for effectively selling solar rooftop systems to commercial and industrial customers, particularly targeting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the North-western region of Tamil Nadu, based at Hosur. This role involves working closely with existing customers and channel partners to identify leads, conduct site surveys, prepare proposals, close sales, and manage documentation.

## Responsibilities - Sell rooftop solar systems to commercial and industrial customers, with a focus on SMEs. - Inform customers about Orb’s in-house credit options to expedite sales closings. - Meet monthly targets for lead generation (site surveys), order bookings, sales invoicing, and collections. - Maintain adherence to guidelines related to money collection. - Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of PV Projects and the marketing team to organize awareness-raising events within the industry. - Actively pursue all sales leads, ensuring updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system are timely. - Conduct initial and detailed site surveys in coordination with internal technical and operations departments to develop proposals. - Evaluate the technical feasibility of the products being offered through personal site visits. - Monitor installation processes to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction. - Ensure overall customer satisfaction with the solar system's performance. - Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the line manager as required. - Track competitor offerings to remain competitive in the market.

## Qualifications - Experience: 10-12 years of B2B sales experience. - Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in selling solar rooftop PV systems is ideal. - Education: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering. - Skills: - Self-starter with innovative ideas and strong initiative. - Clear understanding of commercial issues alongside technical knowledge. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Willingness to travel on short notice.

## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with state policies related to solar energy and rooftop systems.

## Experience Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar energy sector.

## Environment The position is based in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, focusing on the North-western region. The role may require travel to client locations for site assessments.
