## Job Summary The Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing distressed asset transactions. The role involves engaging with lenders, conducting detailed financial and technical due diligence, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The position contributes directly to the organization’s goal of acquiring and managing distressed assets efficiently, thereby maximizing recovery and value creation.

## Responsibilities - Lead generation: Engage with selling lenders to identify distressed assets suitable for transfer to Pegasus, ensuring all conditions are met and building trust with stakeholders. - Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and HFCs at all organizational levels to facilitate deal flow and negotiations. - Deal Evaluation & Structuring: Analyze, structure, and manage assets, including conducting financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment of existing and new ventures. - Due Diligence & Deal Closure: Coordinate diligence processes, prepare detailed financial models, investor memorandums, valuation reports, and facilitate deal closure in compliance with policies and regulations. - Financial & Technical Analysis: Validate stress test results, VaR modeling, and conduct financial due diligence, including TEV analysis, to assess the viability of investment proposals. - Post-Acquisition Management: Oversee formalities related to acquisitions, including document handover, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with trust and regulatory requirements.

## Qualifications - Educational Qualifications: CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred, or MBA (Finance), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) - Technical Skills: - Thorough understanding of financial statements, ratios, credit analysis, and asset valuation - Expertise in portfolio construction, risk management, and macroeconomic analysis - Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and financial modeling - Experience with stress testing, VaR modeling, and economic viability assessments - Soft Skills: - Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills - Analytical and presentation skills - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships - Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

## Preferred Skills - Prior experience in credit/stressed assets within ARC, banks, NBFCs, HFCs, investment banking, or M&A advisory - Extensive network and coverage with financial institutions - Experience in deal structuring, valuation, and legal documentation processes - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to distressed assets and asset reconstruction

## Experience - 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, distressed assets, or related financial sectors - Proven track record of managing end-to-end deal processes, from origination to closure
