Job Summary

The AVP / VP – Channel Sales is responsible for driving business growth through various distribution channels including Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Private Wealth, and Banking. This role focuses on building relationships with key partners, mobilizing assets under management (AUM), and achieving business targets, ultimately contributing to the firm’s overall objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth through the MFD, Private Wealth, and Banking distribution channels.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key channel partners.
  • Drive AUM mobilization and achieve business targets.
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners while expanding existing relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in channel/distribution sales within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), or Financial Services.
  • Strong network across Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Private Wealth firms, and Banks.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient in sales and CRM tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with financial products and services, particularly in asset management.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Experience

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in channel/distribution sales in the financial services sector.

Environment

- The position is based in Hyderabad and operates as an Individual Contributor, reporting directly to Ankit Gala, the Chief Business Officer (CBO).

Salary

- Compensation is in the range of ₹25–35 LPA.
