Business Development Associate (UG)

## Job Summary As a Business Development Associate for the undergraduate (UG) study abroad vertical, you will leverage your proven sales expertise to drive the UG admissions process on India's first AI-powered global admissions platform. Your role is pivotal in managing the entire sales cycle, closing high-ticket deals with students and parents, refining sales strategies based on real interactions, and eventually leading the growing team. This position demands high ownership, strategic thinking, and a passion for democratizing access to quality global education.

## Responsibilities - Own the UG Sales Cycle End-to-End: Manage the complete journey for undergraduate applicants, from initial lead engagement through to enrollment, ensuring structured follow-ups that accommodate the multi-touch, family-inclusive decision-making process. - Close High-Ticket Deals: Convert premium admissions advisory engagements, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets. - Conduct Profile Consultations: Lead detailed consultations with students and parents to evaluate academic profiles, extracurricular activities, and fit for target schools, including Ivy League and other top global universities. - Refine the Sales Approach: Utilize your UG study-abroad experience to enhance positioning, objection handling, and pricing conversations tailored to an AI-driven admissions model. - Collaborate and Grow: Share insights from the field with founders and cross-functional teams such as marketing, counseling, and product development. Take on mentoring and leadership responsibilities as the vertical expands.

## Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on sales experience in undergraduate study-abroad admissions or a comparable study-abroad background. - Proven track record of closing high-ticket deals with a minimum ticket size of INR 10 Lakhs or above. - Experience assisting students with applications to Ivy League colleges and other top universities abroad. - High agency and self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and creatively drive leads forward. - Strong analytical thinking skills to understand the underlying needs of students and parents, manage emotionally charged objections, and construct logical narratives using data such as admit rates and university rankings. - Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the confidence to engage high-achieving students and their parents as a credible advisor.

## Experience - At least 3 years of relevant experience in undergraduate study-abroad sales, including familiarity with the family-inclusive UG sales cycle. - Demonstrated success in closing premium admissions advisory deals.

## Environment - Location: Sector 6, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068. - Job Type: Full-Time Employee (FTE), onsite work from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 am to 8 pm.
