Business Head - Operational Equipment Simulator Division (OESD)

## Job Summary The Business Head for the Operational Equipment Simulator Division (OESD) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving business growth, innovation, and operational excellence within the division. The successful candidate will manage P&L across multiple geographies and develop relationships with key clients in the mining and construction sectors.

## Responsibilities - Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts to expand the global footprint while developing and executing a global business strategy. - P&L Management: Oversee full P&L responsibility, focusing on profitability, cost optimization, and revenue growth. - Reseller Development: Build and manage reseller channel networks in various geographical regions. - Client Relationship Management: Foster long-term strategic relationships with major industry players including mining and construction companies, logistics contractors, and governmental bodies. - New Product Development: Collaborate with R&D to create tailored solutions for the Mining and Construction sectors. - Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency, effective supply chain management, and high-quality service delivery. - Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team. - Market Intelligence & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities while strategizing to achieve business goals. - Stakeholder Management: Provide regular updates and Management Information Systems (MIS) to executive leadership and board members on business performance, opportunities, and challenges.

## Qualifications - Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Industry Experience: Minimum of 15-18 years in mining and construction, with 5-7 years in P&L leadership roles. - International Experience: Proven experience in managing international markets, preferably in the MENA region and Asia. - Operational Expertise: Experience in mining operations and transitioning to equipment sales and P&L roles in the last 5-7 years. - Business Growth: Proven track record of successfully growing and scaling businesses in the mining and construction sectors. - Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to operate independently and drive business growth. - Integrity: Adaptable, agile, results-oriented, and possess high levels of integrity and professional work ethics.

## Preferred Skills - Strong networking and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in mining and construction. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the mining industry.

## Experience - A minimum of 15-18 years in the mining and construction sectors, with significant experience in P&L leadership roles.

## Environment This role is based in Mumbai. The work environment will likely involve a mix of office-based and on-site engagement, with travel required across various geographical locations to meet business needs.
