## Company Overview New Trends Commerce Private Limited (“New Trends Commerce”) is a joint venture between Clicktech Enterprises Private Limited (“Poddar Group Entity”) and Haverl LLC (“Amazon Group Entity”). New Trends Commerce provides seller acquisition and onboarding services to Amazon, focusing on Tier II markets. ## Job Summary As a City Manager at New Trends Commerce, you will lead a local team of sales and service representatives, engaging retailers and sellers throughout their lifecycle. You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering a strategy for small and medium scale businesses in India, focusing on recruitment of retailers that provide competitive pricing and a broad product selection on the platform. The role also offers the chance to establish foundational processes and workflows within the sales organization.

## Responsibilities - Understand and articulate the products and services offered by online businesses to external audiences. - Hire, train, and manage a team of sales and service representatives in the designated city. - Implement standard operating processes to enhance organizational scalability. - Define target seller bases and industry verticals using local market knowledge. - Identify and recruit valuable sellers for online business services. - Lead the team to establish long-term partnerships with retailers and valuable selection. - Interface with internal teams to address seller integration needs and provide resources for seller capability enhancement. - Analyze seller performance data to facilitate their success on online platforms.

## Qualifications - More than 8 years of experience in sales and leadership roles managing large teams. - Experience in a results-oriented environment with external customer interaction. - Proven analytical skills with a focus on managing business metrics effectively. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with logical and concise expression. - Experience working with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is advantageous. - Familiarity with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media is preferred. - Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors. - Demonstrated experience in selling embryonic products/services in new markets. - Experience in defining and implementing new processes is desirable. - Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve challenging goals in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English and a local language, along with awareness of the local retail landscape.

## Preferred Skills - Bachelor's degree required; an MBA is preferred. - Intense customer focus and a strong team player mentality. - Commitment, perseverance, and a willingness to exceed expectations when necessary. - High integrity, intellectual honesty, and a strong work ethic. - Sharp analytical skills with sound judgment and problem-solving ability in real-time. - Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and adapt to changing market conditions.

## Experience - Minimum of 8+ years in sales and leadership roles, preferably within an e-commerce or retail setting.

## Environment - This position is based out of Surat, Kolkata, Jaipur, or Delhi, India, and will involve travel to retailer locations within these cities. The role follows a six-day workweek.
