Consumer Analyst - EDELWEISS AMC

## Job Summary The Consumer Analyst at EDELWEISS AMC is responsible for analyzing consumer data and market trends to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to Annirudh Kekatpure, Head of Research (HOR), the analyst will contribute to the development of insights that drive the company's asset management strategies and enhance client value.

## Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive analysis of consumer behavior, market trends, and industry data to inform investment strategies. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations on consumer insights, market forecasts, and competitive landscape. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate consumer data into broader investment research and decision-making processes. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of consumer-focused investment portfolios. - Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging market opportunities related to consumer sectors. - Support the development of strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.

## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) preferred. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. - Experience with market research, consumer data analysis, or related roles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights. - Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and asset management. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.

## Preferred Skills - Experience working within asset management or financial services industry. - Knowledge of consumer sectors such as FMCG, retail, or technology. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

## Experience - Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in consumer data analysis, market research, or investment research roles. - Prior experience in asset management or financial services is advantageous.
