Senior Executive: D2C Operations & Fulfilment

Job Summary

The Senior Executive for D2C Operations & Fulfilment will take end-to-end ownership of the product fulfilment lifecycle. This role is crucial in ensuring that all customer orders are dispatched within prescribed timelines while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the product fulfilment lifecycle and ensure all orders are dispatched within prescribed timelines.
  • Own and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across fulfilment and logistics.
  • Manage Shopify and logistics portals (e.g., Delhivery, Shiprocket) to plan dispatch lists on a daily basis.
  • Ensure inventory is up to date and provide inputs to ensure inventory levels are adequate to fulfill demand - both current and expected.
  • Handle reverse logistics and exceptions efficiently, including SKU changes, order cancellations, returns and exchanges, non-delivery reports (NDRs), and return to origin (RTOs).
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure timely resolutions and maintain customer delight.
  • Independently raise, track, and close operational tickets with logistics, technology, and payment partners, including shipment, refund, and payment-related exceptions.
  • List products and categories on Shopify and manage the Shopify website.
  • Prepare for potential future marketplace listings by being able to manage product listings and pricing changes.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of full-time operations experience in D2C or e-commerce setups, preferably within the fashion or apparel domain. Bonus points for prior footwear industry experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, charts, and basic automations), logistics portals (e.g., Delhivery, Shiprocket), Shopify, and Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability; comfortable working with data and ambiguity.
  • Clear and structured communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Genuine interest in D2C, consumer brands, and startups.
  • Seasoned familiarity with OMS systems like Unicommerce.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in the footwear industry.
  • Advanced skills in data analytics or related software tools.
  • Knowledge of additional e-commerce platforms and marketplace integrations.

Experience

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant operations experience within the D2C and e-commerce sectors.

Environment

This is an on-site position located in Delhi. The role requires full-time commitment with a 6-day workweek. Immediate joiners are preferred.
