## Job Summary The Data Scientist will play a critical role in analyzing complex financial data to derive actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within SP Finance. The candidate will leverage advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques to optimize financial processes and contribute to the company's growth objectives.

## Responsibilities - Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of financial data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity. - Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models to forecast financial trends, detect anomalies, and improve risk assessment. - Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and insights that inform business strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and business units to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions. - Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and financial analytics to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.

## Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. - Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages. - Experience with SQL and database management. - Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques. - Familiarity with financial data analysis and financial modeling. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to present complex data insights clearly. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark. - Knowledge of financial software and tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. - Prior experience in the finance or banking industry. - Certification in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Financial Analytics.

## Experience - Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or financial modeling roles. - Proven track record of developing predictive models and delivering data-driven solutions in a corporate setting.
