Job Summary

The Delivery Manager for Engineering Design Services will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery and operational performance of design projects. This role involves leading multiple teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence. The manager will collaborate with various functions to optimize resources, improve processes, and manage risks, contributing to the company's strategic goals of efficiency and customer-centric service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery and operational performance of design projects, ensuring timely and quality outputs.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by meeting SLAs, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring productivity.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of professionals, focusing on capability building and performance management.
  • Conduct capacity planning and optimize resource allocation to meet project demands efficiently.
  • Implement process improvements and promote a culture of operational excellence.
  • Manage project risks and resolve delivery challenges proactively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Foster strong collaboration with business units, quality assurance, HR, and other relevant functions to align objectives and streamline processes.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; M.Tech preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience in delivery/operations management, preferably within Engineering Design Services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operational excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams/projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with capacity planning and resource optimization.
  • Commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in engineering design.

Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in delivery or operations management.
  • Prior experience in Engineering Design Services or related technical fields is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing large-scale projects.

  • The role is based in Mysuru, Karnataka, with a focus on day shift operations to promote work-life balance.
