The posting

The Export Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the export process, from order confirmation to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in export documentation, strong relationships with shipping lines, and a deep understanding of international trade regulations. This role requires a meticulous and proactive individual who can handle a high volume of work and ensure seamless export operations. Key Responsibilities: ● Prepare, review, and manage all export documentation. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with country-specific regulations and customer requirements. ● Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Production, Finance) to gather necessary information for document preparation. ● Arrange and book shipments with various shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. ● Negotiate freight rates and shipping terms to optimize costs and transit times. ● Track and trace shipments from origin to destination and provide timely updates to customers. ● Manage and coordinate the dispatch of shipments, including container loading for both FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) for textiles and bulk containers. ● Handle logistics for both container and bulk shipments, ensuring proper handling and security. ● Oversee the entire export cycle, from initial inquiry to final delivery. ● Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agent) for smooth customs clearance and port operations. ● Maintain a detailed record of all shipments and related communications. ● Generate and analyze reports on export performance, costs, and key metrics. and port authorities. Required Skills and Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. ● 3-4 years of proven experience in an export department, with a strong focus on the textile or bulk container shipping industry. ● In-depth knowledge of export documentation, international trade terms (Incoterms), and customs procedures. ● Hands-on experience in dealing with shipping lines and freight forwarders. ● Proficiency in preparing and handling all types of export documents. ● Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. ● High level of accuracy and attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). ● Familiarity with export-related software or ERP systems is a plus. ● Experience with LCs (Letters of Credit) and other payment methods. ● A strong professional network in the shipping and logistics sector.
