Head of Quality and Compliance

Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview:\ We are looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance leader to oversee food safety, quality assurance and regulatory compliance across manufacturing, retail, warehousing and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety functions across multiple sites/outlets.

- Develop and implement FSMS, HACCP, GMP, GHP, SOPs and quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, licensing, labelling and statutory requirements.

- Lead ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 and BRCGS / SQF certifications, audits and inspections.

- Manage raw material, packaging, supplier and finished-product quality.

- Oversee hygiene, sanitation, allergen control, cold chain, warehousing and distribution quality.

- Drive product traceability, complaint management, mock recalls and corrective actions.

- Manage export quality compliance and product testing.

- Build and lead quality teams, training and food safety culture across locations.

Candidate Profile:

- 12–15 years of experience in Food Quality, QA/QC, Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance.

- At least 5 years of experience leading quality across multiple manufacturing sites or retail outlets.

- Experience in Indian sweets, namkeen, dairy, bakery, chocolates, QSR or food retail.

- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations and hands-on experience with FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 and BRCGS / SQF audits.

- Experience in export compliance, cold chain management and food safety systems.

- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology or a relevant discipline.

- ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor certification and HACCP Level 3 or above preferred.
