Head – Portfolio Management Services (PMS)

## Job Summary The Head of Portfolio Management Services (PMS) will lead the overall investment strategy, portfolio performance, and growth of the PMS business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for overseeing portfolio construction, investment governance, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent will lead a team of Fund Managers and Research Analysts to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns aligned with client objectives and market conditions.

## Responsibilities - Investment Strategy & Asset Allocation: Formulate and execute top-down and bottom-up investment strategies for PMS mandates. Oversee stock selection, portfolio structuring, and sector allocation aligned with client risk profiles and market dynamics. - Portfolio Management & Performance Monitoring: Maintain active oversight of investment decisions across all PMS strategies. Rigorously monitor portfolio performance against designated benchmarks and risk metrics. Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to rebalance holdings and optimize risk-adjusted returns. - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct, mentor, and guide a dedicated team of 3–4 Fund Managers and Research Analysts. Foster a disciplined, institutionalized, and research-backed investment culture within the team. - Risk Management & Governance: Implement strict risk controls, mandate compliance, and liquidity standards across portfolios. Ensure full compliance with internal risk limits, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) PMS regulations, and statutory requirements. - Equity Research & Market Insights: Lead deep-dive equity research efforts to identify high-conviction investment opportunities across market capitalizations. Track macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and corporate earnings performance. - Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior investment leadership to align PMS objectives with the broader organization's vision. Represent the PMS investment philosophy during high-level client interactions, wealth partner meetings, and institutional briefings as required.

## Qualifications - Post-graduate degree in Business Administration or Finance from a premier institute; Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder strongly preferred. - Deep understanding of equity valuation, financial modeling, capital allocation, and risk management frameworks. - Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of developing investment talent.

## Experience - Preferably 15+ years of experience in equity portfolio management, equity research, or fund management within a reputed Portfolio Management Service (PMS), Mutual Fund, or Alternate Investment Fund (AIF). - Demonstrated strong, verifiable long-term investment track record with superior risk-adjusted returns across market cycles.

## Environment - Position reports directly to the CEO. - Leads a team of 3–4 Fund Managers and Research Analysts. - Department: Fund Management – Portfolio Management Services. - Band Designation: 8/9. - Work setting details such as location or remote/in-office status are not specified.
