Job Summary

The Head of Talent Acquisition for Hosteller will be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process for ground-level hospitality operations. This role is critical in ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains a large volume of talent across various operational functions such as front office, restaurant staff, and blue-collar roles. Reporting directly to the CHRO, the incumbent will manage a team of 20 recruiters and oversee annual hiring targets of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 employees. The position is based in Mumbai, near MITC Andheri.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies tailored to hospitality ground-level operations, including front office, restaurant, and blue-collar roles.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 20 recruitment professionals to achieve hiring goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of hiring requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline by leveraging various sourcing channels and employer branding initiatives.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and continuously improve processes to meet the high-volume hiring targets of 1,000 to 1,500 hires annually.

Qualifications

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in ground-level operations hiring, including front office, restaurant, and blue-collar roles.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality industry hiring practices and operational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and high-volume recruitment processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance related to hospitality hiring.
  • Ability to implement innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluency in English and local languages.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on hospitality operations.
  • Experience managing large teams and high-volume hiring processes.
  • Prior experience in hiring for roles such as front office staff, restaurant personnel, and blue-collar workers.

Environment

  • The role is based in Mumbai, near MITC Andheri.
