Key Account Manager – Amazon

## Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and scale our Amazon business. This role involves complete ownership of the platform’s performance, driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring operational excellence. The KAM will be responsible for planning and executing sales and marketing strategies, optimizing advertising spend, and coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize business outcomes on Amazon.

## Responsibilities - Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the Amazon channel, driving revenue, profitability, and growth. - Plan and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and improve Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) while optimizing ad spend. - Brainstorm and execute ideas to enhance brand visibility and product performance on Amazon. - Develop data-driven strategies to reduce cost per spend, maximize campaign efficiency, and strengthen product range and category presence. - Manage product listings, pricing, opt-in programs, content, stock availability, and promotional campaigns. - Coordinate with Amazon category teams to leverage visibility opportunities and participate in platform events. - Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and category performance to identify new business opportunities. - Collaborate closely with supply chain and finance teams to manage order flow, returns, and claims. - Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics and share actionable business insights.

## Qualifications - Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - 4 to 6 years of experience in e-commerce account management, with at least 3 years managing Amazon accounts. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and marketplace management tools.

## Preferred Skills - Expertise in Amazon advertising platforms and campaign management. - Experience with inventory management and supply chain coordination. - Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations teams. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

## Experience - 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, specifically managing key accounts on Amazon.

## Environment - Location: Mumbai - Department: E-commerce - Reporting to: Ecommerce Lead - Work setting typically involves collaboration with internal teams and external Amazon category teams to drive business growth.

## Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Monthly revenue and Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) growth. - Advertising Return on Investment (ROI) / Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS). - Improvement in conversion rates and product visibility. - Reduction in Out of Stock (OOS) and return rates. - Profitability and margin contribution.
