## Job Summary The Medical Writing & Content Lead at CHOSEN® by Dermatology in Chennai will be responsible for leading the content team while actively engaging in scientific writing and review. The role involves translating research, clinical insights, and product science into clear, credible communication targeted at consumers and dermatologists. The position aims to ensure the delivery of accurate, engaging, and scientifically sound content that supports the company's dermatology-focused skincare, haircare, and supplement products designed for Indian skin and conditions.

## Responsibilities - Write and review medical content including articles, newsletters, website content, product education materials, scripts, and dermatologist-focused materials. - Lead the content team by briefing writers, allocating tasks, reviewing drafts, providing constructive feedback, and managing project delivery timelines. - Maintain scientific accuracy by evaluating research, verifying claims and references, and ensuring content reflects the strength and limitations of the evidence. - Own editorial quality to ensure all content is clear, readable, consistent with CHOSEN’s voice, and suitable for various channels. - Collaborate across teams including founders, dermatologists, product development, marketing, and design to convert scientific insights into polished content. - Establish and maintain reliable workflows, setting standards for research, referencing, review, and approval processes.

## Qualifications - 5–8 years of experience in medical writing or healthcare content creation, including team management. - Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related discipline. - Strong ability to interpret scientific papers, assess evidence, and communicate complex medical concepts in simple language. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with sound judgment on content inclusion, simplification, and qualification. - Experience in dermatology, skincare, nutrition, or consumer health is preferred. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently from brief to completion.

## Preferred Skills - Experience working with scientific research and clinical data. - Familiarity with editorial standards and content management systems. - Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration. - Knowledge of Indian dermatological and skincare market trends.

## Experience - Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in medical or healthcare content writing. - Prior experience managing a team of writers or content creators.
