## Job Summary\ \ Plant Head is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations across all production facilities. The role involves driving manufacturing excellence, building scalable systems and processes, and ensuring seamless integration of procurement, quality, and supply chain functions. The incumbent will play a critical role in supporting the company's rapid growth trajectory by optimizing operational efficiency, maintaining high product quality, and fostering a high-performance team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across all production facilities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Drive ownership of the complete manufacturing value chain, including:
  • Backward supply chain and procurement
  • Manufacturing operations
  • Quality management
  • Forward supply chain and distribution
  • Build scalable manufacturing systems, processes, and operational frameworks to support rapid business growth.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, efficiency, cost optimization, and throughput.
  • Ensure consistent product quality while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Leadership to enable seamless execution.
  • Lead capacity planning, expansion initiatives, and manufacturing scale-up projects.
  • Develop strong vendor partnerships and procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions in a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience across manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement functions.
  • Strong exposure to both backward and forward supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated success in building processes, systems, and teams within rapidly growing organizations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities with strong business acumen.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a bias for action and execution.
  • Educational qualifications such as BTech, BSc, or equivalent in relevant fields; advanced degrees like MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people leadership skills.

Environment
