Sales Manager – Food Ingredients

Our Food & Nutraceuticals business partners with global manufacturers and leading brands to deliver high-quality functional ingredients, specialty additives, nutraceutical actives, and formulation solutions to customers across India.

## Job Summary We are looking for an ambitious sales professional who can build strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and expand MStack's presence within the Food & Nutraceuticals ecosystem. The role involves managing business growth across our Food Ingredients portfolio, focusing on bakery, confectionery, ice-cream, and ready-to-eat/ready-to-cook segments.

## Responsibilities - Sales Delivery & Revenue Growth — Acquire new customers, upsell/cross-sell, and convert business to contracted recurring revenue while owning the sales cycle to hit targets. - Portfolio & Market Development — Build market knowledge and supplier relationships, leveraging insights to shape the ingredient portfolio. - Sales Discipline & Reporting — Maintain a daily sales review rhythm, with disciplined CRM tracking of every interaction and forecast. - Customer Account Management — Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with technical and supply chain teams to deliver customer-centric ingredient solutions. - Consultative Selling — Utilize strong consultative selling skills and a technical understanding of ingredients to manage complex B2B sales cycles.

## Qualifications - Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field; an MBA (Sales/Marketing) is a plus. - 4+ years of B2B sales experience selling ingredients into bakery, confectionery, ice-cream, or ready-to-eat/ready-to-cook industries. - Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. - Ability to independently manage large territories and key accounts. - Willingness to travel extensively across India.

## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software. - Knowledge of market trends and customer requirements in the Food Ingredients sector. - Experience with consultative selling and account management strategies.

## Experience - Minimum of 4+ years in sales and business development, specifically in B2B environments within the food ingredients industry.

## Environment - This role is primarily field-based with extensive travel across India required to meet clients and attend business development activities.
