Senior Executive – Quality Assurance

With multiple manufacturing facilities across India, including its Vankal facility in Valsad, Gujarat, the organization emphasizes food quality, safety, traceability, and sustainable food processing practices.

## Job Summary The Senior Executive – Quality Assurance will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the highest quality and food safety standards across the production processes at the Vankal facility. The role focuses on monitoring quality, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, particularly for Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food products. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding product integrity and customer satisfaction.

## Responsibilities - Monitor and ensure quality standards across the production line. - Conduct online/in-process quality checks and ensure adherence to defined specifications. - Handle incoming inspection and testing of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM). - Ensure proper implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and food safety practices. - Maintain product traceability throughout the production and packaging process. - Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements. - Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. - Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, and documentation. - Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Coordinate with Production, R&D, Stores, and other relevant teams to resolve quality issues. - Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) practices on the shop floor. - Support investigation of customer complaints, deviations, and non-conformities.

## Qualifications - 4–5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the food industry. - Mandatory experience in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food products. - Good awareness of HACCP and BRC (British Retail Consortium) requirements. - Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements. - Hands-on experience in online/in-process quality control. - Experience in Raw Material (RM) & Packaging Material (PM) inspection/testing. - Good understanding of traceability and quality documentation. - Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related fields. - Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

## Preferred Skills - Experience in food processing, RTE, frozen food, processed food, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) manufacturing. - Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory compliance. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

## Experience - 4 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the food industry, specifically with Ready-to-Eat products.

## Environment - The role is based at the Vankal manufacturing facility in Valsad, Gujarat. - The work environment involves shop floor activities, including monitoring hygiene, sanitation, and GMP practices. - Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with physical and environmental conditions typical of food processing plants. - Preference for local candidates who can commute easily to the facility.

## Salary - ₹6.5–7.5 LPA (Maximum CTC), depending on experience and suitability.
