We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Vendor Development & Purchase for an engineering/manufacturing organization.

📍 Location: Chandannagar- Westbengal\ 💼 Experience: 5–8 Years\ 🎓 Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech – Mechanical preferred\ 🏭 Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing / Automotive

About Jigsaw\ Jigsaw is a fast-growing recruitment and talent advisory firm partnering with high-growth organizations to build exceptional leadership and specialist teams.

Key Responsibilities:\ • Identify, develop, and onboard vendors for products, components, and sub-assemblies\ • Conduct vendor visits and assess technical capability, quality, financial stability, and delivery performance\ • Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate pricing and commercial terms\ • Monitor vendor performance across cost, quality, and delivery\ • Identify vendor risks and ensure continuity of supply\ • Manage vendor agreements, renewals, and performance reviews\ • Coordinate with Finance and vendors for invoice and payment-related activities\ • Collaborate with Purchase, Quality, Engineering, Production, and other internal teams\ • Provide vendor performance and risk updates to senior management\ • Travel minimum 10 days per month for vendor visits and development

Requirements:\ • 5–8 years of experience in Vendor Development / Purchase / Procurement\ • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or automotive sector\ • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills\ • Good understanding of engineering components and manufacturing processes\ • Experience with vendors in Gujarat and Punjab will be an added advantage\ • Willingness to travel extensively
