About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Long-Form Video Editor who can handle extended, narrative-driven video content (typically 20–60+ minutes). You will transform raw footage into polished, engaging long-form videos while also helping create short-form clips for social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Edit long-form video content (documentary-style, educational, narrative, or story-driven formats) for platforms like YouTube and other video-first channels.
  2. Structure and pace long videos to maintain viewer engagement, using clear storytelling beats and smooth transitions.
  3. Sync multi-camera footage, B-roll, and supporting visuals to enhance the narrative.
  4. Perform basic colour correction, audio balancing, and cleanup to ensure professional-quality output.
  5. Add graphics, lower-thirds, captions, and on-screen text where needed.
  6. Export videos in correct formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for each platform (horizontal, vertical, square).
  7. Collaborate with content creators or producers to align edits with the brand tone and creative direction.
  8. Suggest and implement creative ideas to improve retention (e.g., pacing, cutaways, subtle motion graphics).
  9. Maintain organized project files, backups, and naming conventions.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 2+ years of experience editing long-form video content (documentary, educational, narrative, or similar formats).
  2. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve, depending on your stack).
  3. Basic understanding of audio editing (removing noise, levelling levels, smoothing transitions).
  4. Comfortable working with multi-camera setups and syncing audio/video.
  5. Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm in long-form formats.
  6. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple long-form projects per week.
  7. Experience exporting for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.

Nice-to-have:

  1. Experience with After E_ects or motion-graphics tools for simple animations.
  2. Experience creating short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) from long-form episodes.
  3. Familiarity with remote recording workflows and handling varied source quality.

  1. You understand long-form storytelling and know how to keep viewers engaged in 20–60+ minute videos.
  2. You can work independently with minimal hand-holding but are open to feedback.
  3. You are organized, detail-oriented, and deliver clean, consistent edits.
