Job Description Aamara AMC (CAT III AIF) Designation: Sr. Manager - Fund Operations Experience: 4-7 years Location: Mumbai About the role: As an Operations Executive, the professional will be responsible to manage daily operating activities of a Category III AIF. The role includes trade settlements, reconciliations, client servicing, and coordination with fund partners and internal teams. Some key responsibilities areas include: - Manage daily operations of the AMC (settlement, reconciliation, banking), ensuring efficiency and accuracy - - - - - - - - - Implement and improve operational processes Interacting with & managing brokers and other financial intermediaries Coordinate with internal teams for seamless fund operations Coordinate with Fund Accountant, RTA, Tax Advisor, Custodian, and Trustee Handle client servicing (onboarding, redemptions, communication), handle queries and provide timely resolutions Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and other statutory requirements Maintain records and prepare reports for internal and regulatory use Prepare and submit regulatory filings and reports Monitor and report on fund performance Qualifications: - - - - - - - - - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Legal, or related field Experience in PMS/AIF operations (AIF, PMS, or AMC preferred) Understanding of capital markets and trade lifecycle Experience in audit, taxation, and regulatory reporting for AIFs Sound knowledge of Excel/ ERP/ fund accounting tools Reconciliation knowledge Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills Knowledge of regulations, as applicable o SEBI AIF Regulations (2012) o Indian accounting standards (IGAAP) o Debt instruments and cash flow-based valuation o NAV computation and investor-level unit accounting Certification: Candidate should possess a NISM XIX certificate or must pass the exam within 3 months of joining.
