Position Overview: Sr. Engineer Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring maintenance of plant & machinery to support uninterrupted production in a cost-effective manner. ROLE: Maintenance of plant & machinery- The Goal is to ensure implementation of Total Productive Maintenance practices. 1 J OB BRIEF POSITION: Sr. Engineer Maintenance JOB DESCRIPTIONS FUNCTION: Plant Maintenance EXPERIENCE: REPORTING TO: Assistant Manager - Maintenance 1. At least 4 to 7 years of experience in maintenance management within FMCG Food or FMCG Industry. 2. Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. 3. Knowledge of boiler, thermo-pack operation, FFS packing machines, power conveyors, Fryers, roasters is essential. 4. Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, servo motors and drives. 5. Exposure to the Total Productive Maintenance system is essential. 6. Ability to develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs. 7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization. 8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 9. Proficiency in computer software applications such as ERP systems, MS Office Suite. 10. Leadership quality, ability to work in a team and positive attitude is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure continuous availability of plant & machinery and utilities required. 2. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all production lines, equipment and utilities. 3. Direct and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure the timely execution of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities. 4. Maintain machine history cards. 5. Analyze breakdowns using Root Cause Analysis- Cause & Effect Diagram and Why-Why analysis. 6. Machine critical spares management and stocking 7. Prioritize and assign work orders/AMCs based on urgency and impact on plant operations. 8. Identify opportunities to optimize equipment reliability and performance, reduce costs and improve safety. 9. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. 10. Establish and monitor budgets, forecast expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources. 11. Support projects in planning, selection, installation & commissioning of plant & machinery as per CAPEX plans. REPORTS & MEETINGS 1.Prepare daily, weekly monthly reports on maintenance related activities/matters. 2.Prepare MIS report 3.Participate in Key Management Meetings viz. Safety meetings, Plant Review Meeting, Monthly Performance Review Meeting etc. JOB AUTHORITY: Commensurate with the responsibility. 2
