In this role, you will build and grow strategic relationships across the financial sector, working with senior stakeholders including GP-level ESG and sustainability teams, value creation and portfolio operations teams, investment and deal teams, and within banks, Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Sustainable Finance and Corporate Banking teams. You will combine strong commercial skills with an understanding of the private equity and financial services ecosystem to identify opportunities, shape relevant solutions and drive revenue growth across sustainability, climate, energy and value creation. What will you do? Develop and manage strategic relationships with private equity firms, banks, asset managers and other financial institutions, engaging senior decision-makers across sustainability, investment and value creation functions. Within banking clients, engage with CIB, Sustainable Finance, ESG and Corporate Banking teams, identifying opportunities both within the financial institution and through their corporate client base. Own the full sales cycle, from account development and opportunity identification through solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation and deal closure. Develop opportunities at both fund/institution level and portfolio/company level, connecting client priorities with relevant sustainability, climate, energy and decarbonisation solutions. Work closely with internal subject-matter experts and teams across Schneider Electric to bring together capabilities that address complex client needs. Develop strategic account plans, build and maintain a strong pipeline, and identify opportunities to expand relationships across client organisations and portfolios. Stay close to developments across private markets and financial services, using an understanding of evolving sustainability expectations, regulation and market trends to identify new areas of client demand. What are the key skills we are looking for? What qualifications and experience will make you successful? 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within private equity, banking, asset management, financial services, sustainability advisory or B2B sales to financial institutions. Demonstrated experience in business development, consultative sales, client relationship management or account development, preferably with sophisticated financial-sector clients. Good understanding of the private equity investment lifecycle and/or banking environment, including the priorities of ESG teams, investment/deal teams, value creation teams, portfolio companies, CIB and corporate banking. Familiarity with relevant sustainability frameworks and initiatives such as UN PRI, SBTi and PMDR, and with the regulatory landscape affecting financial institutions, including areas such as SFDR, ORSA and EBA requirements. Ability to understand how sustainability and climate topics connect with investment decisions, portfolio value creation, risk management, decarbonisation and operational performance. Executive presence and confidence engaging senior client stakeholders and navigating complex organisations. Strong commercial judgement with the ability to independently identify opportunities, prioritise accounts and progress complex sales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French and/or German language skills are a strong advantage, particularly for developing relationships across European financial markets. Experience working in an international, cross-functional environment is an advantage. What’s in it for me? Work directly with leading private equity firms, banks and financial institutions on some of their most important sustainability and value-creation priorities. Develop relationships across both financial institutions and their investment portfolios/corporate ecosystems, creating opportunities for broader strategic engagement. Bring together Schneider Electric’s sustainability, climate, energy and operational expertise to address complex client challenges. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
