The posting

Art:

  • Assist with procurement, sorting, and disposal of art materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and oversee Art rooms, Kiln, Woodwork, Darkroom, and related equipment (e.g., 3D printers, drill press, bend saw).
  • Supervise students and invigilate tests when needed.
  • Support events like Art exhibitions and SYF Art Festival.
  • Assist in photo-documentation and coordinate repairs/renovation works.

Music:

  • Assist with procurement, repair, and maintenance of instruments and resources.
  • Maintain music rooms, library, and equipment setup for lessons and exams.
  • Supervise students and oversee room security.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.
  • Experience in schools with students, makerspaces, or art/music studios.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Excel; strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, with initiative and independence.

Duration/ Working hours:

12 months contract (16 Jan 2026 to 15 Jan 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break Fridays: 9:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays except by special arrangement with off-in-lieu provision Service not required on gazetted public holidays
