The posting

Seaman Corporation is a manufacturer of high-quality industrial coated fabrics, based in Northeast Ohio for over 75 years. Our manufacturing facility promotes a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, and we celebrate our team-based approach. Manufacturing is the core of our business. We are currently looking for a Coating Assistant on Line 4 for A Shift, 7:00a – 7:00p. IMPORTANT: Candidates hired in this role will be required to train on Day Shift for 4 to 6 months. As of March 1, 2026, we have transitioned to a 24/7 rotation with a 4:3 schedule. Must be able to work within that schedule. Day shift will be 7a-7p; night shift will be 7p-7a.

This position will be trained in all areas of the plant and will provide support where needed. Some responsibilities include:

Promoting safety by following procedures and practices Delivering blended compounds in timely manner to each production line in order to run efficiently Documenting pick list information, printing and attaching pigment ticket to pick list Assuring sample testing meets specifications Learning all facets of running coating lines Material Handling Inspecting all products
