Join a Leading Healthcare Facility in the UAE

An exciting international career opportunity is available for an experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join a prestigious healthcare facility in the UAE.

We are seeking a highly skilled and internationally trained specialist with extensive experience in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, perioperative medicine, and critical patient management.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, advanced anesthetic expertise, and a strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preoperative assessments and evaluate patients' suitability for anesthesia.
  • Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and stability.
  • Develop individualized anesthetic plans based on patients' medical conditions and surgical requirements.
  • Manage airway complications, pain control, and perioperative emergencies.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients during recovery.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage patients requiring advanced monitoring and perioperative support.
  • Participate in emergency response and resuscitation when required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and follow clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Recognized specialist qualification in Anesthesiology / Anaesthesia.
  • UK CCT in Anaesthetics or an equivalent recognized Western specialist qualification.
  • American Board Certification, Canadian Royal College certification, FANZCA, or other recognized specialist qualifications will be considered, subject to UAE licensing requirements.
  • Proven consultant-level experience in anesthesiology.
  • Extensive experience in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and perioperative patient management.
  • Strong expertise in airway management, patient monitoring, and emergency anesthesia.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Valid UAE healthcare licence or eligibility for the relevant Consultant title is preferred, subject to the applicable licensing authority's requirements.
