The posting

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its specialist cardiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex cardiac rhythm disorders, performing advanced electrophysiology procedures, and providing comprehensive care to patients with arrhythmias and other electrical disorders of the heart.

Requirements

Candidates must hold one of the following recognised qualifications:

  • UK CCT – Certificate of Completion of Training in Cardiology with recognised subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Western Qualified – Recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology with advanced training in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • American Board – American Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease with recognised subspecialty certification or advanced fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Australian Board – Relevant specialist qualification in Cardiology with advanced electrophysiology training recognised by the Australian specialist college.
  • South African Board – Recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology with additional training and expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Additional requirements:

  • Extensive post-specialisation clinical experience in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
  • Proven experience performing complex catheter ablation procedures.
  • Expertise in cardiac device implantation and management.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac rhythm management.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.
