The posting

A prestigious leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgery department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and surgically managing complex conditions affecting the heart, lungs, chest, and major blood vessels, providing advanced surgical care and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized postgraduate specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • UK CCT, Western Qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
  • Extensive experience in cardiac and/or thoracic surgical procedures, according to the required subspecialty.
  • Proven expertise in complex cardiothoracic surgical cases.
  • Experience in minimally invasive cardiac or thoracic surgery is an advantage.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, surgical, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
