The posting

A prestigious leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join its established surgical department. The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical care for patients with colorectal, colonic, rectal, and anorectal conditions, delivering high standards of clinical excellence and patient-centred care.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • Recognized specialist qualification in General Surgery with fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery / Colorectal Surgery.
  • UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board.
  • Extensive post-specialization experience in colorectal surgery.
  • Proven experience in complex colorectal and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
  • Strong expertise in colorectal cancer management and advanced anorectal surgery.
  • Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy is preferred.
  • Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in the UAE (DHA, DOH, or MOHAP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
