Join a Leading Healthcare Facility in the UAE

An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine to join a prestigious healthcare facility in the UAE.

We are seeking an internationally trained specialist with advanced expertise in high-risk pregnancies, fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and the management of complex maternal and fetal conditions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical leadership, advanced diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing world-class maternal and fetal care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist care and management for high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal conditions.
  • Perform detailed fetal assessments and advanced prenatal ultrasound examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage fetal abnormalities and congenital conditions.
  • Conduct fetal growth assessments and monitor fetal wellbeing.
  • Perform and interpret fetal Doppler studies and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • Provide prenatal screening, counselling, and diagnostic guidance to expectant parents.
  • Manage maternal medical conditions that may affect pregnancy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop individualized care plans for patients with complicated pregnancies.
  • Provide preconception counselling and specialist antenatal follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and patient safety standards.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with advanced subspecialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
  • UK CCT with relevant Maternal and Fetal Medicine subspecialty training or an equivalent recognized Western specialist qualification.
  • Qualifications from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland will be considered, subject to UAE licensing requirements.
  • Proven consultant-level experience in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
  • Extensive experience in high-risk pregnancy management and advanced fetal ultrasound.
  • Strong expertise in prenatal diagnosis, fetal surveillance, and management of complex pregnancies.
  • Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and patient-counselling skills.
  • UAE healthcare licence or eligibility for the relevant Consultant title is preferred, subject to authority requirements.
