Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced UK CCT-qualified Interventional Radiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in performing minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing complex cases, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of image-guided interventional radiology procedures using ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, and angiographic guidance.
  • Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, stenting, and image-guided biopsies.
  • Manage patients requiring minimally invasive treatment for vascular, oncological, hepatobiliary, and other complex conditions.
  • Conduct pre-procedure consultations, assess patient suitability, and review clinical history and diagnostic imaging.
  • Develop appropriate procedural plans based on individual patient conditions and treatment requirements.
  • Perform image-guided biopsies, aspirations, drainage procedures, and catheter placements.
  • Undertake vascular access procedures and manage complications associated with interventional treatments.
  • Perform embolization procedures for haemorrhage control, tumour management, and other clinical indications.

Requirements

  • MBBS / MD or equivalent medical qualification.
  • UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology with subspecialty expertise in Interventional Radiology.
  • Relevant post-CCT clinical experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Current or previous specialist registration with the UK General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Strong expertise in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
  • Eligibility for the relevant UAE healthcare authority licensing requirements.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
