SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for a reputable healthcare provider in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have Australian specialist qualifications in Psychiatry and extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of psychiatric and mental health conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric consultations and follow-up care.
  • Manage complex mental health cases and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Support patients and their families through appropriate counselling and psychoeducation.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Australian specialist qualification or board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in Psychiatry.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical assessment, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eligibility for consultant-level licensing with the relevant UAE health authority (DHA, DOH, or MOHAP), subject to applicable qualification and experience requirements.
