Supervise recruiting staff and provide guidance on retention efforts for Branch managers. Ensure appropriate selection criteria and standards for hiring processes are maintained.
- Employee Relations and Counseling: Analyze and resolve employee relations issues, guiding supervisors and managers on problem resolution. Lead and document thorough workplace investigations (e.g., harassment, discrimination, policy violations) and recommend appropriate corrective and disciplinary actions, up to and including termination, with a strong focus on mitigating legal risk. Partner with management and Legal/HR leadership to ensure disciplinary actions and terminations are handled consistently, fairly, and in a manner that reduces exposure to potential claims or lawsuits. Represent the company in unemployment, wage/hour, and EEOC hearings within the Area.
- Benefits Administration and Payroll: Administer employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance with client contracts and company policies. Participate in payroll administration and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Prepare data and documentation for OFCCP audits, Affirmative Action Plans, and other HR reporting needs.
- Training and Communication: Keep management and employees informed of new HR regulations and company policies. Coach and mentor HR personnel, providing training and support for career growth and effective HR program implementation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
