Job Description

Job Title: Shift Lead Officer – Healthcare Location: New Milford, CT Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Shift: Morning shift, Tuesday–Saturday, 06:30–14:30 Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and professional Shift Lead Officer to support a healthcare client in New Milford. In this role, you’ll provide security services on-site and lead the officers on your shift to ensure a safe, calm, and professional environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support security officers during the morning shift
  • Ensure all post orders and site procedures are followed
  • Monitor access control, visitor management, and general safety on site
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with client staff, visitors, and your Securitas team
  • Support training and onboarding of new officers on your shift
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Securitas values at all times

Requirements

  • Prior security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to work the set schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 06:30–14:30
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must meet all licensing and background requirements as per state and client regulations
