About Seek Now

Seek Now is transforming property inspections through technology, data, and human expertise.

We deliver faster, smarter, and more reliable insights to insurance carriers and single-family rental markets through an expanding ecosystem of digital products.

Our technology connects field professionals, property data, artificial intelligence, and operational workflows. We’re building software that simplifies complex processes, improves accuracy, and creates meaningful experiences for the people who rely on it every day.

As our platform evolves, we’re investing in thoughtful, high-quality product design to ensure every experience feels intuitive, cohesive, and purposefully crafted.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced UX Design Engineer who combines exceptional design instincts, strong product thinking, and the technical ability to bring ideas to life.

You’ll work directly alongside our Lead Product Designer to shape the experiences, interactions, and design systems behind Seek Now’s growing product ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and engineering. You’ll move comfortably between Figma, interactive prototypes, React components, and close collaboration with frontend developers.

We’re looking for someone with a strong point of view, exceptional attention to detail, and the confidence to challenge ideas constructively. Someone who understands that great products emerge through thoughtful exploration, iteration, collaboration, and careful execution.

You’ll contribute to product direction, help establish scalable design patterns, and take ownership of complex experiences from early concepts through production.

We also value curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly AI-assisted design and development tools, and the judgment to recognize where they genuinely improve how we work.

What You’ll Do

Product Design & User Experience

  • Collaborate with the Lead Product Designer, Product Managers, and engineers to design intuitive, high-quality experiences across our web and mobile products.
  • Own design initiatives from initial concepts and user flows through high-fidelity interfaces, interactive prototypes, and implementation.
  • Translate complex business requirements and operational workflows into clear, approachable user experiences.
  • Design responsive layouts, sophisticated interactions, and polished interfaces that account for accessibility, usability, and real-world conditions.
  • Apply strong visual design principles across typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, motion, and interaction.
  • Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and advocate for exceptional user experiences.
  • Communicate product concepts and design decisions through compelling presentations, storytelling, and functional demonstrations.

Design Engineering & Prototyping

  • Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, React, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend technologies.
  • Translate design concepts into functional experiences that demonstrate real interaction behavior.
  • Build, maintain, and refine reusable UI components in code.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure production implementations accurately reflect design intent.
  • Contribute component-level code when appropriate to improve implementation quality and consistency.
  • Understand technical constraints and work collaboratively to develop thoughtful solutions.
  • Help reduce friction between design and development through clear specifications, reusable patterns, and strong communication.

Design Systems & Component Architecture

  • Help maintain, evolve, and scale Seek Now’s shared design system across multiple products.
  • Create and document reusable components, variants, interaction states, and responsive patterns.
  • Establish consistency between Figma components and their implemented counterparts.
  • Ensure components account for accessibility, usability, different platforms, and meaningful interaction states.
  • Identify opportunities to improve design system organization, documentation, and developer adoption.
  • Balance shared design principles with the unique functional and visual requirements of individual products.
  • Help establish standards that improve consistency, quality, and scalability across our product ecosystem.

Innovation & AI-Assisted Workflows

  • Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to improve design exploration, prototyping, development, and documentation.
  • Experiment with emerging technologies that enhance creative problem-solving and product development.
  • Help evolve efficient, repeatable workflows that maintain high standards for design quality.
  • Stay informed about developments in UX, frontend engineering, design systems, and AI-powered tools.
  • Bring new ideas, techniques, and perspectives that help advance the team’s capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX design, product design, design engineering, frontend prototyping, or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and successful problem-solving.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, interactive prototyping, and scalable design system organization.
  • Strong expertise in visual and interaction design, with exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
  • Hands-on experience creating functional prototypes with React, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend technologies.
  • Working knowledge of React Native and modern mobile application design patterns.
  • Experience designing, developing, or maintaining reusable component libraries.
  • A strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, interaction states, and cross-platform behavior.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with frontend engineers to bring designs into production.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools for design, prototyping, documentation, or development.
  • Ability to independently manage complex design challenges while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
  • A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to offer constructive feedback and challenge assumptions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing B2B SaaS, enterprise applications, property technology, insurance products, or operational workflows.
  • Experience with complex mobile-first workflows and field-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with React Native development, Tailwind CSS, Xcode, and modern frontend tooling.
  • Experience with platforms such as Atlassian, Pendo, or Userpilot.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development environments such as Codex or Claude Code.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

We’re looking for someone who brings more than technical proficiency.

Craftsmanship. You care about the details. Typography, spacing, interactions, and visual consistency matter because you understand their impact on the overall experience.

Ownership. You’re comfortable taking a problem from ambiguity to execution. You make decisions, communicate your reasoning, and move work forward independently.

Technical Curiosity. You enjoy understanding how things work and aren’t afraid to open a code editor to turn an idea into something functional.

Product Thinking. You consider the complete experience, understand the people using the product, and recognize how individual design decisions affect the larger ecosystem.

Collaboration. You enjoy working alongside other talented people, exchanging ideas, challenging assumptions, and finding stronger solutions together.

Adaptability. You’re comfortable learning new tools, exploring emerging technologies, and refining your approach as products and workflows evolve.

Communication. You can articulate your ideas clearly, explain the reasoning behind your decisions, and present your work confidently to engineers, Product Managers, and leadership.

Why You'll Love It Here

Meaningful Ownership

You’ll have the opportunity to shape real product experiences and influence decisions that affect our growing technology ecosystem.

A True Design Partnership

You’ll collaborate directly with our Lead Product Designer, sharing ideas, solving complex problems, and helping establish a strong design practice across the organization.

Design That Reaches Production

Your work will move beyond concepts and prototypes into products used by real people solving real-world problems.

A Culture of Exploration

We’re investing in emerging technologies, evolving workflows, and new approaches to product development. You’ll have room to experiment, contribute ideas, and help determine what comes next.

Room to Grow

As our products and design practice expand, you’ll have opportunities to take ownership of entire product experiences, lead initiatives, and help shape the future of design at Seek Now.

Let’s Build Something Great

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving difficult problems, and believes thoughtful design can make complex technology feel effortless.

If you’re passionate about creating exceptional experiences, enjoy working across design and engineering, and want to have a meaningful impact on the products you build, we’d love to meet you.

Bring your portfolio, your curiosity, and your point of view.

Join Seek Now and help shape what’s next in property technology.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
