Als Safety Supervisor Construction ben je zichtbaar aanwezig op de werf en zorg je ervoor dat veiligheidsvoorschriften en procedures consequent worden toegepast. Je spreekt medewerkers en contractors aan op onveilig gedrag, volgt veiligheidsincidenten op en draagt actief bij aan continue verbetering van de veiligheidsprestaties op de site.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

Toezicht op veiligheid en naleving

  • Toezicht houden op de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften, procedures en preventiemaatregelen op de werf.
  • Controleren of werkzaamheden uitgevoerd worden volgens de geldende werkvergunningen.
  • Toezien op het correct gebruik van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PBM's).
  • Identificeren en rapporteren van veiligheidsinbreuken en zorgen voor correcte opvolging.
  • Proactief optreden bij onveilige situaties en risico's beperken voordat incidenten ontstaan.

Coachen en sensibiliseren

  • Medewerkers, contractors en bezoekers aanspreken op onveilig gedrag of onveilige werkomstandigheden.
  • Veiligheidsbewustzijn stimuleren en bijdragen aan een positieve veiligheidscultuur.
  • Constructieve feedback geven over veilig werken en correcte toepassing van procedures.
  • Een voorbeeldfunctie opnemen op de werf en het belang van veiligheid voortdurend uitdragen.

Samenwerken aan een veilige projectomgeving

  • Nauw samenwerken met aannemers, werfleiding, afdelingsverantwoordelijken en het SHEQ-team.
  • Ondersteunen bij veiligheidsinitiatieven, toolbox meetings en sensibiliseringsacties.
  • Signaleren van verbeterpunten en voorstellen formuleren voor optimalisatie van veiligheidsprocessen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan een veilige en efficiënte uitvoering van de bouwwerkzaamheden.
  • Je beschikt over een bacheloropleiding in een technische, veiligheidskundige of industriële richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende, coördinerende of toezichthoudende functie binnen een industriële of bouwomgeving.
  • Ervaring met contractors, aannemers en grootschalige werfactiviteiten is een belangrijke troef.
  • Een certificaat Preventieadviseur Niveau 3 is een pluspunt. Ben je nog niet gecertificeerd, dan ben je bereid deze opleiding te volgen.
  • Je hebt een sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor het naleven van veiligheidsregels en procedures.
  • Je communiceert duidelijk, diplomatisch en durft mensen professioneel aan te spreken.
  • Je werkt graag in een operationele omgeving en bent regelmatig aanwezig op de werf.
  • Je blijft kalm onder druk en behoudt overzicht in een dynamische projectomgeving.
  • Je beheerst vlot Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent voornamelijk beschikbaar in dagdienst, maar staat open voor sporadische aanwezigheid tijdens avonden of weekends indien het project dit vereist.
