The posting

Senior Helpers of Dayton is hiring a compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized, in-home care for a client with dementia in Kettering, Ohio.

Schedule

  • Start: Sunday at 9:00 AM
  • End: Tuesday at 9:00 AM
  • 16 hours of paid caregiving, with 8 hours of sleep time provided
  • Position covers Sunday and Monday

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and ambulation
  • Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding
  • Offer medication reminders
  • Complete light housekeeping and homemaking tasks
  • Provide compassionate, attentive care to a client with dementia

Client Care Level: The client is ambulatory but requires total care and assistance with daily activities.

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
  • Patient, compassionate, and dependable
  • Available to start as soon as possible

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay up to $17 per hour, depending on experience
  • Weekend shift differential: Additional $1.50/hour for weekend day shifts Additional $2.00/hour for weekend night shifts
