We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional Weekend On-Call Coordinator to join our growing Home Healthcare team. This unique leadership opportunity allows you to continue making a meaningful impact while earning additional income on weekends.

As our Weekend On-Call Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring clients receive uninterrupted care by supporting caregivers, coordinating schedules, and helping resolve weekend staffing needs.

Schedule

  • Assigned 2 weekends per month during four-weekend months
  • Rotating coverage of up to 3 weekends during five-weekend months
  • On-call coverage begins Friday at 5:00 PM and ends Monday at 9:00 AM
  • Must be available to answer calls and texts throughout assigned weekends

What You'll Do

As the Weekend On-Call Coordinator, you will:

  • Serve as the primary weekend contact for caregivers, clients, and families
  • Assist with caregiver call-offs and staffing challenges
  • Coordinate schedule adjustments and shift coverage
  • Respond to client and family concerns professionally
  • Review caregiver reports and communications
  • Utilize WellSky to monitor schedules and client needs
  • Document weekend activities and provide updates to the office team
  • Help ensure exceptional client care and caregiver support

This position is ideal for experienced caregivers looking to take on additional responsibility while continuing to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

Your ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and support both caregivers and clients will directly contribute to our mission of providing outstanding care.

Emergency Coverage Support

In rare situations when staffing coverage cannot be secured, you may be asked to provide temporary companionship coverage until a caregiver arrives.

You will never be required to provide hands-on personal care in this role. Your presence helps ensure client safety and peace of mind while our office team secures replacement coverage.

Ideal Candidates Have

  • Home Healthcare or Care-giver experience
  • Scheduling or Staffing Coordination experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Experience with WellSky (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current Automobile Insurance
  • CPR Certification
  • Successful Background Screening
  • Successful Fingerprinting
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Dependable attendance and reliability

Compensation

$85-$105 per day while assigned on-call coverage

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
