Are you a Registered Nurse seeking flexibility, meaningful work, and a supportive environment? Senior Helpers Southern Maryland—part of a nationally recognized leader in home care—is looking for a compassionate PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional care to seniors in your community.

Service Areas: Accokeek, Brandywine, Cheltenham, Clinton, District Heights, Ft. Washington, La Plata, Oxon Hill, Suitland, Temple Hills, Waldorf, White Plains

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct client intake assessments and ongoing reassessments
  • Develop, update, and monitor individualized care plans
  • Oversee care management for both clients and caregivers
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance care practices
  • Mentor and train caregivers, supporting their professional growth
  • Lead and assist with Caregiver Skills Training Evolutions
  • Promote client safety and respond promptly to concerns
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all client interactions

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state
  • At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred (motivated new grads and retired RNs welcome!)
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and client dignity
  • Willingness to travel throughout our service area
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work independently
