Mission of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our team dedicated to autonomous driving technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Go service development, a good understanding of RESTful API design, experience building fault-tolerant, real-time systems, and the ability to build the operator-facing web applications that sit on top of them. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding the backend responsible for streaming live fleet state to operators and relaying commands to the autonomy stack, as well as the web UI operators use to monitor the fleet, edit maps, and design and run scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement services in Go, following a domain-driven design.
  • Build and maintain event pipelines between the operator-facing layer and autonomy stack.
  • Define and extend RESTful API contracts that teams can build against with confidence.
  • Deliver real-time state to operators over event-driven and streaming connections, with a focus on robustness and redundancy.
  • Maintain and extend operator-facing data in PostgreSQL through versioned migrations.
  • Maintain and extend service instrumentation so system behavior stays observable as new features land.
  • Build and maintain the operator web application in TypeScript, React and Next.js, from API integration to UI.
  • Develop interactive tools for operators, such as a 3D map editor and live fleet view (WebGL / Babylon.js) and a node-based scenario editor.
  • Render high-frequency real-time data (vehicle and perception streams over WebSocket) in the browser while keeping the UI responsive.
  • Own features end to end, from the database schema and API through to the screen operators use, and keep frontend and backend contracts in sync.
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, component and end-to-end) to keep the product reliable as it grows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of work experience in backend software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building resilient services (e.g. graceful degradation and recovery).
  • Solid experience with Go or similar backend programming languages and concurrent high-traffic systems.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs, preferably using a Go framework (e.g. Fiber, Gin).
  • Comfortable working with relational databases, ORM, query optimization and schema migrations (e.g. Postgres, GORM).
  • Comfortable working with message-driven architectures and event pipelines (e.g. Kafka).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work cross-functionally with developers, QA, and operations teams.
  • Solid experience with TypeScript and React in production web applications, preferably with Next.js.
  • Good understanding of client-side state and server-state management (e.g. TanStack Query, Zustand).
  • Experience building complex, data-heavy UIs with a component library or design system (e.g. Mantine).
  • Fluent in Korean and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience working with real-time or streaming systems (e.g. WebSockets or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and ability to support the frontend team.
  • Experience with 3D graphics or WebGL in the browser (e.g. Babylon.js, Three.js), or with map and geospatial visualization.
  • Experience building node-based or canvas-based editors (e.g. React Flow).
  • Experience with binary serialization formats such as Protocol Buffers.
  • Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g. Vitest, Testing Library, Playwright, Storybook).
  • Experience building internationalized (i18n) applications.
  • Background or interest in robotics, autonomous driving, or fleet management systems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
