Job Title: Accounts & HR Assistant Report To: General Manager Department: HQ Location: Kuala Lumpur Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accounts & HR Assistant to support both our finance and human resources operations. In this role, you will manage daily accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries, alongside full-spectrum HR support including screening candidates, processing payroll, and managing company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

  • Accounts Payable: Manage vendor invoices, verify billings, process payment vouchers, and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile statement of accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and input accurate general journal entries into the accounting software.
  • Account Filing: Maintain systematic, audit-ready physical and digital financial filing systems.

Human Resources & Administration

  • Recruitment Support: Screen, shortlist, and schedule interviews for job applicants to support hiring needs.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist in end-to-end monthly payroll processing, verifying attendance, and ensuring accurate statutory deductions.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and track company assets (e.g., laptops, access cards, equipment) throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR paperwork, update employee databases, issue formal HR letters, and maintain confidential personnel records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in dual-function HR and accounting roles or related support functions.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles, basic payroll calculations, and local statutory regulations.
