GENERAL MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and drive business growth within the dental industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing overall business operations, commercial strategy, sales performance, and team leadership while ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the business.
  • Develop and execute business growth and market expansion plans.
  • Drive sales revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dental clinics, hospitals, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the dental market.
  • Manage and coach cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business performance reports for management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Marketing, or a Related Discipline.
  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in the dental, medical device, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Proven leadership experience with responsibility for commercial and operational functions.
  • Strong business development and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to travel to Malaysia for business setup
  • Experience managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Existing network within the dental industry would be an added advantage with experience in dental equipment, dental consumables, or dental solutions businesses.
