  • Coordinate daily camp operations, including camper group assignments, staffing, educational activities, animal experiences, park attractions, meals, evening programming, and camper transitions.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive camp environment by ensuring compliance with established supervision standards, safety procedures, and departmental policies.
  • Maintain appropriate camper-to-counselor ratios and ensure consistent camper accountability, including attendance, check-in and check-out procedures, and authorized camper release.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, guardians, and group organizers, addressing questions, behavioral concerns, injuries, and other program-related matters professionally and promptly.
  • Support counselors in managing camper behavior through positive guidance, conflict resolution, and age-appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Respond appropriately to camper illnesses, injuries, emergencies, and unexpected operational challenges while following established reporting and communication procedures.
  • Maintain year-round compliance with applicable American Camp Association (ACA) accreditation standards, ensuring camp policies, procedures, staff training, supervision practices, and program operations consistently meet established requirements.

  • Maintain accurate camp records, including attendance, incident reports, camper information, training documentation, and program evaluations.
  • Develop creative ideas and promotional initiatives to increase Group Camp and Resident Camp awareness, enrollment, and returning camper participation.
  • Serve as a liaison with the Marketing Department to coordinate promotional campaigns, social media content, photography opportunities, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist with developing program descriptions, website content, promotional messaging, and communications to prospective and returning camp families and group organizers.
  • Identify opportunities for community outreach, partnerships, and special events that promote Group Camp and Resident Camp programs and attract new audiences.
  • Monitor enrollment trends, camper and parent feedback, group organizer feedback, and program performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Assist with developing new camp activities, special events, and program enhancements that support continued growth and participation.
  • Support other Education Department programs and operational responsibilities as needed throughout the year.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
