Direct Support Professional (DSP)—Day Program  Starting Pay: $18.65/hour, On Demand Pay Available Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm Location: Columbia, MO Looking for meaningful work where you can make a real impact every day? Join Sevita and help individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and other complex needs live more independent, connected, and fulfilling lives. Your Impact

Lead and support group activities like arts and crafts, games, music, fitness, and cooking Teach life and job-readiness skills that build independence and confidence Plan and join community outings to parks, libraries, stores, and volunteer sites Help individuals with personal care, meals, and mobility with dignity and respect Give medications safely once you've completed certification Track each person's progress toward goals and keep accurate daily notes Transport individuals to and from the program or outings using a company vehicle, if applicable

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Support individuals with daily living activities and personal goals Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills Participate in community outings, events, and recreational activities Build meaningful relationships while helping others thrive

What You BringWe hire for heart and teach the skills. You'll do well in our day program if you are:

Energetic, creative, and excited to make each day engaging Patient and encouraging, especially when someone is learning something new A team player who enjoys working alongside other staff in a group setting Committed to growing a career in human services

You'll also need:

To be 18 or older, with a high school diploma or GED (or 5 years of documented caregiving experience) A valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving history, plus a reliable, insured vehicle To pass required background checks Able to pass a background check Caregiving, CNA, childcare, or volunteer experience is a plus, but not required
