Transportation Driver – Adult Day Care ⚠️ REQUIRED TO APPLY: Applicants must be English-speaking and have held a full, valid Maryland driver’s license for at least two (2) years. 📍 Location: Rainbow Terrace Adult Day Health Center 🏢 Address: 9135 Guilford Rd, Ste 100, Columbia, MD 21046💰 Wage: $16.00/hour🕐 Schedule: Full-Time | 5 Days/Week | Approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | Every Other Saturday Required No evenings. No on-call shifts! Join our Adult Day Health team as a Transportation Driver, providing safe, reliable transportation for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Help participants stay connected, independent, and engaged while supporting daily activities at the center.

Qualifications

English-speaking required Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or equivalent Full, valid Maryland driver’s license held for at least 2 years Valid vehicle registration and insurance 2 years of passenger transportation or 14-passenger van/bus driving experience Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening Dependable, compassionate, and strong communication skills

Safely transport participants between their homes, the center, appointments, and community activities Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility equipment Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance needs Support center staff with participant supervision, recreational activities, meals, and general assistance
